Young Investigators' Travel Awards

@Kumamoto AIDS Seminar provides support to promising young investigators and students who are conducting research on AIDS, and to students who are planning to study about AIDS. The objectives of this award are follows;
  To give young investigators and students an opportunity to present their research and get advice from the investigators in the forefront of AIDS research
As a consequence, to benefit the promotion of future research on AIDS

To stimulate interest on students in AIDS research by giving an opportunity to listen to the speech and presentation of the latest frontiers of AIDS research

Eligibility: Young investigators (students, postdoctoral students and doctors who are not working full-time) who are conducting research on AIDS are eligible. Students who are interested in AIDS research are also entitled. (All the investigators and students of Kumamoto University are not eligible to apply.)
All the accepted applicants are required to make a poster presentation in English. Some applicants may be offered to give an oral presentation in English. The selected applicants will be informed after the notification of abstract acceptance.

Award:

Travel and Accommodation cost for two nights and three days, which is subject to the Kumamoto Universityfs travel expenses standards
Airplane tickets and coupon for lodging will be provided to the awardees.

Young Investigators and students who have been already conducting research are required to give a presentation in this seminar. As an exemption, however, students who are interested in AIDS research and are intending to study are also entitled to apply for this award. In this case, the above 3: Application Form for Young Investigatorsf Travel Award (form4) is solely required to submit. Please write gthe reason and motive you have decided to participate in this seminarh as keen and enthusiastic as possible.

From Application to Registration:

1. Acknowledgement: The acknowledgement will be sent to you by email within three days after receipt of your application.
2. Result Notification: All the applicants will be notified whether the application is accepted or not by July 31st.
3. Registration: Accepted applicants are required to submit the Registration Form (form1) by August 7th. Otherwise, you will be regarded that you have declined the acceptance of award.
