Tokyo Education and Research Center (TERC) International Medical Center of Japan (IMCJ), which provides treatment for more AIDS patients them any other clinical facilities in Japan, and adjacent Kumamoto University Tokyo Liaison Laboratory from Tokyo Education and Research Center (TERC). In TERC, visiting professors and at IMCJ engage in research activities.

There is a monthly meeting at TERC to facilitate interactions among faculty members at IMCJ and Ph. D. students.
