The Joint Research Center for Human Retrovirus Infection is a collaborative effort between Kumamoto University and Kagoshima University initiated in April 2019 for the shared goal of eradicating refractory retroviruses. We hope that the innovative research and education structure achieved through collaboration between both the Kumamoto and Kagoshima University campuses will build a retrovirus research and education center visible to the world that will then act as a hub for a global research network. We now offer internships for university students, graduate students, and young researchers interested in our Research Center.
Must be an undergraduate student, master’s/doctorate student, or young researcher interested in research performed at the Joint Research Center for Human Retrovirus Infection
Applicants shall reply during the application period for the appropriate school year at the accepting laboratory. Interns will be selected in consideration of the total number of positions available for each school year.
