Our D4 graduate student, Aritsu-san, successfully passed his doctoral degree examination and received approval for his degree, six months ahead of the standard completion schedule!

His doctoral research focused on modified peptides designed to induce functional T-cell responses. This project was initiated as a collaborative study while he was a master’s student at KINDAI University under Prof. Mizuki Kitamatsu and has continued throughout his doctoral studies. Aritsu-san joined our group when he entered the doctoral program and successfully mastered and completed new experimental approaches, including functional analyses of human T cells and animal experiments using HLA-Tg mice. We believe this paper truly reflects Aritsu’s unique strengths and accomplishments as a researcher!

He is scheduled to complete his PhD at the end of September 2026 and will continue to further develop this research as a postdoctoral researcher in our group from October.
Congratulations, Aritsu-san! 🎉 We look forward to seeing your continued success and further achievements! ✨
