International Collaborative Research Development Grant for Young Investigators aim at supporting young scientists in the formative stages of their careers to conduct international collaborative research. The grant will provide one-year period of initial support for projects intended to complete preliminary steps in the pipeline for pre-arranged international collaboration.
International Collaborative Research Grants for Young Investigators
1 Applicants (within ten years of receiving the doctoral degree and under 42 years of age) discuss prospective projects with their international collaborators in advance.
2 Applicants submit English application form to the International Research Committee.
3 Applicants may be called for an interview prior to the final decision.

The funds are primarily designed to cover the research conducted in Japan.
6 Grant recipients submit progress reports written in English to the International Research Committee at the end of fiscal year..
7 Evaluation of research progress. Grant recipients may be celled for an interview.
8 Evaluation forms will be sent to grant recipients.
