Program Description
Programs for Graduate Students and Young Investigators
Global Education and Research Center Aiming at the Control of AIDS offers two programs for graduate students and young investigators: "AIDS Research Expert Training Program (AREP)" and "Training and Educational Program for Eradication of AIDS." In these programs, we aim at preparing young scientists for global leadership in HIV/ AIDS research. We also continue our efforts to serve as a point of advanced global research & educational organizations to develop new drugs and vaccines.

In addition, we organize the international symposium "Kumamoto AIDS Seminar", which have been held annually since year 2000, and provide an opportunity for young investigators and graduate students to actively interact with internationally renowned scientists.
