Program Description > AIDS GCOE Research Assistantships
The gCOE program provides financial support for Ph. D students through Research Assistantships.
Applications for FY2012 is now closed.

gCOE Research Assistantships are available to Ph. D. students in the gCOE program, and stipends (¥ 60,000-90,000 per month) will be paid to research assistants (RAs). Applications will be judged based on research proposals and interviews. The assistantships offer students educational training as well through application process and data presentation.
AIDS GCOE Research Assistantships
1 Applicants submit application forms prepared in English to the Committee for Education of Young Scientists.
2 Review of applications and interviews.
3 Applicants selected for assistantships will be notified and also receive review comments.
4 RAs participate in the WYI-Seminar series and give presentations. They also submit monthly reports.
4 RAs prepare research reports in English and submit them to the Committee for Education of Young Scientists by the end of February.
6 The Committee evaluates RAs' research progress.
7 RAs receive evaluation forms.
