Dr. Mitsuyoshi Takatori joined our lab as a Postdoctoral Researcher.

Dr. Matsuo published a paper in Nature Communications, titled 【Identification and characterization of a novel enhancer in the HTLV-1 proviral genome 】.

We participated in the 20th International Conference on Human Retrovirology: HTLV and Related Viruses.

Mr. Tokunaga and Mr.ichiyasu joined our laboratory in the research training. They conducted research about infection of retrovirus and SARS-CoV2.

Joint research with DENKA Co., Ltd. has been started.

Prof. Satou acquired "AMED-Research Program on HIV/AIDS".

Prof. Satou gave a lecture at Oxford-Kumamoto University Joint Conference.

Ms.Ishrat Jahan and Ms.Sharmin Nahar Sithi joined our lab as PhD. students.

Mr. Samiul’s paper titled 【A SARS-CoV-2 Delta variant containing mutation in the probe binding region used for RT-qPCR test in Japan exhibited atypical PCR amplification and might induce false negative result.】is now published in Journal of Infection and Chemotherapy.
